Matthew has been working in video production for over a decade, first developing an interest in filming and editing at a young age while experimenting with cameras and online video platforms. What began as a curiosity quickly grew into a long-term pursuit of filmmaking and visual storytelling.

Since then, he has worked across a variety of productions including short films, music videos, documentary-style interviews, freelance projects, and corporate video. Throughout these productions, Matthew has served in multiple roles including director, director of photography, camera operator, location sound recordist and mixer, digital imaging technician (DIT), and editor.

 

This hands-on experience across many aspects of production has given him a strong understanding of the filmmaking process from camera through post-production. Through his work with MCM Pictures, Matthew continues to develop narrative and commercial projects while collaborating with filmmakers and organizations throughout the Pacific Northwest.
